Good for car campers, backpackers and coffee on the go-ers alike…
Since I’m all about the prep work and good coffee, Thursday evenings are usually composed of making my coffee pods for the weekend camping trip with my favorite coffee bean.
What You’ll Need
- Coffee filters
- Dental floss (Not mint flavor. Trust me. I tried it.)
- Coffee, ground
Once you have what you need, place 1-2 tablespoons of ground coffee in each pod, and tie it closed with a piece of floss (or fishing line). This will act like a tea bag.
What To Do
- Go camping
- Boil water
- Place coffee pod in mug with hot water
- Let steep, and enjoy!
These are small and light to pack, and there is no mess to clean up. Burn those grounds in the campfire when you’re done. They also store well in a small zip lock. Triple-win.
