Versatile layering and fit

I gambled on the large size with my 46" chest @ 215lbs being 6'1". The fit of the large Pathfinder is excellent with just a short sleeve t-shirt/base layer. I do prefer a longer sleeve length of the xl though, especially if I am layering over a long sleeve t-shirt/base layer.
Comparing the new Pathfinder against the older 1/4 Zip Grid Fleece, the left side breast pocket is much larger, the collar is taller, and stands up on its own which are very nice features. I'm not much of a hoody-wearing human and like a taller collar. This new fleece does not cling to every surface when putting it on which is one of the downsides to the older Grid Fleece. The new zippers have a notchy movement while sliding them, does not feel like they are failing, the movement is not smooth.
