Much thinner and more snug than expected

In the description of this jacket, they mentioned that the woman in one of the pictures weighs 160 and is wearing a medium... it looked roomy in that pic, it seemed like she even layered under it, and since I weigh 165, I ordered a large, just in case. The large was extremely tight across my chest... I wouldn't be able to wear anything but a t-shirt under it. Also, the description implied that it isn't just a rain jacket...so I assumed it would be a bit more sturdy than a rain jacket, but I was wrong. It is extremely thin, I have a marmot rain jacked made with goretex that is more durable than what this one seems. Finally, it is long and flairs out at the bottom, considering I am 5'4" it just looks silly, especially since it's not roomy over my hips/butt area and then flairs out below that. Overall, if you're curvy, I would not recommend... also, if you're looking for something more than a rain jacket, this probably isn't it.

Love it, but more pockets!

A great shell for the slopes as well as a rain jacket. I ordered a small and its roomy enough to go over a puffy but also not to bulky to wear on its own or with less layers. My only complaint are the pockets! I'd love a chest pocket to use for my phone or to hold my lift ticket. Also, the 2 hand pockets are placed higher than most jackets so its feels like an awkward placement. I still love the jacket, but better and more pockets would make it a 5 star :)

Best fitting women's shell on the market

I just took this shell out skiing for the first time this weekend in 18 inches of powder and couldn't be happier with it. The shell blocked the wind, kept the snow out and fit better than any other shell I've owned. I was expecting to pay close to $400 for a jacket like this and was shocked by the quality for the price.

All around great shell

Just got this shell in this past Friday, and immediately took it to the resort on Saturday and in the backcountry on Sunday. It did extremely well in powder - kept me dry and also was an awesome layer in blocking the crazy wind. I'm 5'3" and 125 lbs and ordered a medium. A small would have fit well, but the medium was perfect to layer over a puffy in the backcountry. Even without layers underneath, it has a good shape to it and doesn't look big or boxy. I am looking forward to wearing it a ton this winter and also this summer as a rain jacket.

Two thumbs up for this one, Mountain Standard!
