Mountain Standard is owned and operated by an independent team dedicated to changing the outdoor industry. All Mountain Standard products are designed and tested in Colorado by a team with centuries of experience in the outdoor industry. Our products are built to withstand all elements of the Mountain Standard region, and to keep you comfortable and protected no matter what your RIMBY is.

If you have purchased a product from mountainstandard.com and are not satisfied for any reason, you may return your purchase within 90 days of delivery for refund. All returns must be unworn and unwashed with the original tags attached. Please follow these instructions to complete the process:
- Submit your Return & Exchange requests HERE.
- Once you get your prepaid shipping label, repackage your product(s) in unused condition and include a copy of the packing list
- Apply your return label to the outside of the package and drop your return anywhere UPS operates!
Once your return is received at our Distribution Center, we will issue your refund minus a $5 return fee. Your refund may take 5 to 10 business days to appear in your account. Cost of shipping is nonrefundable. We do not accept international returns.
If you’d like to exchange your Mountain Standard product for the same item in a different size or color, or for a gift card of equal value, please follow the same instructions listed in the Returns process, above.
Once your exchange is received at our Distribution Center, we will place a new order for your preferred size or color. If your preferred style is not currently in stock, we will issue you a gift card for the value of the product. You will not be required to cover shipping or restocking costs on orders for exchanged products.
We unfortunately do not accept international exchanges.

LIFETIME MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY:
Mountain Standard products are mountain tested in all-weather conditions to ensure each piece is durable and effective. Our team trusts this gear to stay comfortable and protected no matter what the Mountain Standard Region throws our way.
We offer Lifetime Manufacturer’s Warranty on all Mountain Standard products purchased on mountainstandard.com. If your product fails to perform due to manufacturing or material defects, we will replace your product or refund you for the value of the product.
Our warranty policy is not valid for products purchased on sale, at partner retailers, or at consumer events. Products damaged by accident or normal wear and tear are not eligible for full refund, but may be eligible for credit on a Mountain Standard Gift Card.
Normal wear and tear damage includes, but is not limited to:
- Burnt or melted fabric from campfire hurdles or lighter fluid fireballs
- Puncture holes from playing with knives or the big cats you find in the woods
- Stains and discolorations from using your gear as a chamois or tourniquet
- Rips, tears, or snags from trips, snares, and frags
- Pilling fabric on fleece. You know how hard you’re wearing it, don’t act surprised.
